Pascal Magis, born in 1955, he lives and works in France. Abstract Variations. Graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1976 under the name of Cartonnier-Lissier, Pascal Magis spent many years designing tapestry, through which he earned a reputation. In 1984 he decided to return to his first love: painting. In his abstract compositions raw colours dominate. Red, blue and yellow intermingle, leaping from the heart of the canvas, drawn along by the artist’s powerful strokes.
